Devtools writer Anh open-sources her writing skills template
Anh, known for high-performing devtools content on Hacker News, released an open-source template for technical writing.
Anh, a developer tools writer recognized for consistently landing top posts on Hacker News, has open-sourced her writing skills template, according to swyx, who shared the resource along with a recording of her talk on the subject.
The template offers a structured approach to technical writing for developer audiences — a skill set that remains in high demand as AI tooling companies compete for developer attention. Strong technical content has become a key distribution channel in devtools, where Hacker News visibility can drive significant adoption. Open-sourcing a proven writing framework lowers the barrier for developer advocates, founders, and engineers looking to sharpen their communication. A companion talk recording provides additional context on how Anh applies the template in practice.
